As the power of the sun brings light and warmth to a
cold Minnesota landscape, so do Lightshed’s
documentaries illuminate the critical issues of our time
and the historic events and individuals who have shaped
our lives.
Public Policy Films: Lightshed believes that we need to
get beyond the bumper sticker slogans and sound bites
that often pass for debate on critically important
public policy issues. Today, citizens are largely
informed by what they see on a screen. They are
attracted by presentations that tell a story, while
conveying information and a message. Lightshed’s
documentaries allow the viewer to make an informed
decision on critical issues of our time.
Historical/Biographical Films:
Lightshed strives to tell
stories of individuals who together or individually have
followed their visions in order to produce positive
change for their own and future generations.
